In this episode I outline the benefit of 10 minute walks. This is something that I have seen modeled the last couple of years from some pretty prominent people in the fitness space. What I have loved about the idea of multiple 10 minute walks throughout the day is that it is a pretty simple addition to anyone’s routine. I go on to explain why the benefits actually seem to be above the actual commitment required. If you’re like me, then major changes to your day can be hard to get behind and remain consistent. The 10 minute walk should be pretty easy to transition into your schedule.
Since implementing 10 minutes walks throughout my day (ideally in the morning, after lunch, and after dinner) I have felt so good! My energy levels are up, my clarity has noticeably improved, and I’m remaining productive throughout the day. If my personal account of the benefits isn’t doing it for you then please follow the links below for a more scientific description of the benefits.
Lastly, I would encourage all of you, even if it isn’t 10 minute walks, to increase your activity in some way. Whether you exercise frequently or are pretty sedentary, the benefits of increased blood flow are tremendous. Links below.
